Not deciding to do something is a decision.
Not choosing is choosing not to.
When trying to change something, inaction is a form of action.
When evaluating, it’s easy to look at what might happen if you choose the action.
Changes will probably be positive.
You might solve your problem,
conquer that fear,
get that client,
hit the goal.
etc.
But what is the cost of not doing something?
Is it more than the action?
Is staying stagnant even worse than making a decision and just going with it?
Sometimes, even the slightest movement forward is still the most beneficial.
The cost of doing nothing is expensive.
Even if you’ve got something great going on and on the right track, if you stay still, you’ll get run over.
Evaluate wisely. What’s the cost of doing nothing?

A good reminder that both action and inaction are choices!
